Whether you’re a starting talent or an established talent looking to grow your network, when it comes to finding the right agencies to represent you, it’s almost never a smooth road. 

You will be doing lots of research and once you’ll identify your good matches, you really want to maximise your chances of being taken onboard. 

Usually agents will have submissions guidelines listed on their website, and most of the time they’ll ask you to send them an email with your demo reel attached or a link to your website.

But how do you approach them? What should you write? 

I’m sharing with you the very same email templates I used to make my way up to where I am now. For you, for free.

The Starting Talent template is a simple and yet effective template for starting talents. This is perfect when you have gained some experience with small jobs and you feel ready for the next step. This exact template is taken from the fist email I ever sent to an agency, and it got me representation straight away. Which then led me to the recordings of my first campaign for a very famous smartphone. This very simple template had a success rate of over 60%, with more than half of the contacts I had made offering me representation.

The Growing Talent template is a slightly more articulated template and it'is meant to help the growing talent take their career to the next level and get represented by leading agents.

This template is the very same one that got me to join the pool of my main agent as well as many other leading agents around the world and eventually led me to land big global campaigns.

Writing a good first contact email isn’t of course enough to guarantee you a successful reply. A successful career is the result of a perfect balance between your talent, your selling unique point, the quality of your reel and your marketing and performance skills; all these (and more) are covered in our mentoring programmes.

However the first contact is your very first opportunity to make a good and professional impression to maximise your chances.
